I am currently serving as a research advisor and coordinator for undergraduate research at the University of Washington. In my role, my primary responsibilities include the coordination and support of key programs and services including the Undergraduate Research Symposium, Washington Research Foundation Fellowship and Levinson Emerging Scholars programs, the Undergraduate Research Conference Travel Award, and the annual summer poster session. On the other hand, I also support outreach and students through one-on-one student advising, where we spend time talking about any topic in the research lifecycle, from first-year engagements to senior presentations of research. Beyond this, I also administratively support the office in communications, marketing, graphic design, website management, and process development.
In addition, I also currently serve as a member of the Social Science Division for the Council on Undergraduate Research where I am a member of the Student Travel Award Committee and the Social Media/Outreach Committee. I also participate in other service opportunities in scholarship and student awards throughout the University of Washington, from serving on the campus Barry Goldwater Scholarship Committee to reviewing for the Mary Gates Endowment for Students Research Scholarship.
